“a fleeting moment, an autograph of anonymity. Names become interchangeable masks; fashioned and fitted by the forgetful hands of time”

A stage placed in an abandoned Napoleonic fort stands empty except for a video projector sat in a green spotlight. On an adjacent brick wall it projects a stream of pictures found through a Google search for the name “Jimmy”. Left to wonder which, if any, of these diverse people, found at random, might have scrawled “Jimmy was here” on the wall beside them leads us to question how cyphers of individuals, names and faces, permeate the collective conscious of the media through information yet reveal nothing but further references.
